Good company-needs a little tweaking

  I have done a review on startex before and continue to be a current customer. The only thing they need to change is when you want to renew on the 3 month plan that power to choose has for startex, they need to have that available on their website instead of having to call customer service and get a supervisor to override it so you can renew as a current customer. I was told in the past by e-mail that startex treats current and new customers the same so that everyone can get the same rate. How about making it easier for that to happen. I am pleased with them as my electric provider and their customer service is very good. Also they are owned by Exelon now.

I want to renew with them, but not competitive for loyal 5+ yr customers

  I was truly hoping to stay with this company after being a customer for about 5 years. I've had excellent customer service since day one and great rates each 12 month renewal. This year I just can't seem to get a rate in the range I am seeking and will probably have to look elsewhere. I wanted to lock in for 24 months but they are higher than several others and just won't budge. Oh well, that's the world of competition!

  They were my electricity provider for 2 years while in college. My 6 mo. contract at my current residence is about to expire. Unfortunatelly, I have move on to a diff. provider for better rates.

Good bye old friend!

  I've been with Star Tex for 5 years and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. On the rare occasion that I have called customer service I have found them to be courteous and knowledgeable. Alas, I now find myself with much trepidation, preparing to switch to a new provider with a better rate. I am sorry to say goodbye to Star Tex, but I have my budget to consider.

  Online payment structure is great. Prices are competitive. I haven't had to use their customer servicee as of yet. I've been with this electric provider for several months now. Woul definitely reccommend!

  went on line after receiving the NG bill with the exorbitant increase. Found Constellations 36 month plan and signed up' Had some start up issues but all got resolved. Called and chatted with a nice representative to understand the billing process. Already recommended to my children

  I've been a customer with Constellation for 4 years and have generally had a positive experience with them as my electricity provider in NY state. While I am cancelling my plan with them this is because they have discontinued their green/renewable energy plan for NY residents. Generally the fixed rates were very reasonable for the wind plan (8 - 10c/kWH) and I did not run into any billing or account issues and would recommend them to other NY residents who aren't looking for a green electricity supplier.

  I had no issues with billing which is usually the cause to hate them. I had an issue with signing up since I had my credit locked. I wish they would tell online you who they use to check your credit so people can unfreeze or unlock their credit before hand. Like all electric company's they get you in with a good rate then charge a lot more to renew, but all companies do that. All that being said it was a good experience with them and I wish I could stay with them but on to the next with a better rate.

  I have what i thought was a good relationship with this company everyone ive ever dealt with was upfront honest and true to their word. My issue is i thought i did well when i signed up for a 3 year fixed rate price per kilowatt hour @ 9.99 now im reading and see it is 7.69ish? i no i have a contract but one would think to keep a customer and remain honest they could have at least contacted me to see if i am interested to extend my contract at this price for and extended 3 years. I realize i have a contract and it is what it is but my thinking if you wish to keep a customer and keep an honesty repot going any company would give it a thought to put their customers 1st. Also i wish to let anyone and everyone who sees this i only wrote this publicly as i couldnt find any other waty to contact on this page... its possible their is another way in front of my face so sorry if their is i mean no dissing to this company as i said they have all been very good dealing with me and i never found any big issues against them. Lastly they were a company who introduced themselves to me and left me alone to make a choice without calling or emailing me to the point that id want nothing to do wth them they left me to make a choice without feeling forced.
