“ This company sent me to collections for a last billing when they never ever sent me an actual bill. I paid it to get rid of them but they had no bill to provide me and last time I was able to look at my account I showed a zero balance. I pay my bills. They sent nothing by mail until almost a year later to tell me I was in collections! No calls... no last bill... no access to my on line account. Won't spend a penny with this company again. Crap way to treat a customer who paid on time and was a good customer for years. I am happy to pay my depts, but my account said zero balance on line last time I had access to it, no paper bill received either. Do better before you send people to collections. ”
“ I canceled service May 6th they put me on the phone with person in another country that cant understand English therefore it didnt get canceled now theyre trying to say I owe over $120. Its not my fault I kept getting disconnected and it hey dont understand English !!!!!! ”
“ Please read this review before it disappears. The fact that many identical reviews appear on both this TX and MA sites for Constellation indicate that these reviews are disingenuous at best, and likely manipulated at worst. As such, I doubt this review will even be posted here, but it will find its way to other more legitimate review sites. Other review sites described in detail the predatory marketing practices of this brokerage company (they and their parent company EXELON are not really energy companies at all, much like Enron). They convinced my wife, who has dementia, into changing gas providers. Then, when I attempted to change the account to my name (because of my wife's limited capacity to check the monthly billing emails) they asked for a ridiculous disconnect and reconnect fee. Since they are a brokerage company, and not a utility company, they have nothing to do with actually turning your gas utilities on or off. Then they split the account, but did not send me any of the bills or history from the old account. It looked as though they did not credit one of my payments, but it was actually credited to the old account for which I had NO information. After months of complaining (both directly and through Better Business Bureau complaints) they finally explained that the payment was credited to the old account. Of course I would not know this because I was locked out of that account in my wifes name. Finally I asked them to send me a zero-balance bill from the old account so I can pay the final bill on the other account and be assured they are not hiding any additional debt claims that I dont know about. They have not responded even after I sent registered letters to their CEO and the CEO of their parent company (EXELON). I have now spent more money trying to get a response than I owe them, so I have given up. Luckily I teach chemical engineering at a U.S. university so this experience is now an illustrative case study for both chemical engineering classes in the energy field, and in a class I teach in new technical startup. Constellation puts significant resources into its marketing, but its customer service infrastructure is dismal. You should avoid this company at all costs. ”
“ On hold 30 minutes two times and now Im the 3rd hold trying to cancel-inefficient and nobody can actually handle the request ”
“ I started the change way back in March. Then receive a notice around May 1st that the change has not been made because of an error on your part. I tried to login this evening but didn't pass the test. And of course Georgia Natural Gas ® is billing me at the variable rate while this is settled. I've changed natural gas providers several times in the past and this is absolutely the worst cutover ever. ”

“ I purchased a home in the first week of March. I searched for gas service in the area and pricing. I decided to try Constellation after CONFIRMING that they covered my area, and could connect my service. As my service connection date arrived I did not receive any communication about getting my service started. My connection date came and went and my family (to include my 80 year old in-laws) did not have gas for cooking or heat as the night time temps dipped to freezing. After several calls, Constellation told me they could not service my area. I would not recommend them to anyone for anything. ”

“ I live in a zip code that is partially served by Constellation. I ordered my service, set up my account and assumed the gas would start flow only closing date. It didn't. We were doing a renovation and still lived about 200 miles from our house be serviced by Constellation, so we had painters working in a very cold house. I would expect to have been notified that constellation didn't serve my address but that didn't happen. Super disappointed. ”

“ Tomorrow Energy is still on my Duke bill and they are changing the rate every month: Low was 0.059 and high was 0.140.Trying to find out why. Who regulates this PCU and how do I get rid of these thieves. We are retired and on a fixed budget and this hurts. ”
“ It took 5 calls because they repeatedly were telling me I wasn't signed up after emailing me confirmation numbers. Kept trying to change the price everytime I had to call again. End of story I am NOT a customer of constellation and would NEVER recommend anyone waste time with the run around I was put through!!! ”

“ They told me to cancel plan with Reliant energy so that they can provide me with better plan. On the evening they promised to start service, they say that there has been a problem. These guys dont even bother to send an email or call me directly to inform me about the problem. Worst service and I feel cheated in terms of trusting constellation energy. ”
