Energy Harbor -- Profile Analysis

I have a love/hate relationship with energy choice. I like having choices but hate the shopping. First Energy Solutions had everything laid out nicely so the choice was clear. Finalizing everything was relatively painless. I'm happy.

Best rate to lock in for 3 years. Easy transition all on-line.

I need more than a monthly cycle to determine performance. Also I need to experience a problem to determine customer service support

Chose Energy Harbor at one cent less than my current contract, filled out the request form, submitted and on my cancellation date with Direct Energy, Energy Harbor took over my account. Simple. Easy. Great savings. No problems to date.

After viewing OHIO Choice website I decided the best company for us was Energy Harbor. I wanted one company for both gas and electric and at a lower price.

It was an easy experience with Energy Harbor even though I thought I messed up when ordering they had all the right info.

Easy To Change Utility Supplier

Let's be honest: electric rates are going up, up, up. I was lucky enough to find Energy Harbor's fixed rate for 3 years at a reasonable rate. Some of the other energy supplier's are asking for 20 cents per kwh! Glad I found Energy Harbor. Customer service is great too.

I did my research and found Energy Harbor to be the best fit for my rental properties with it being a fixed rate for 4 years with no cancellation fees or sign up fees.

I had a great experience with the customer service going over my options and coming to a resolution with my account.

This is the third year I have used Energy Harbor for our electricity. I haven't had an issues and it was easy to select another energy plan once our contract ended. It's been the cheapest rate available to out area.

Switched over last year for the better rate and fixed for 32 months, then 2 months later their rate went even lower by another cent so I reapplied and it was lowered in 5 days. Great service!

Energy Harbor is what they say they are. When the price goes lower you are able to lock in to that price without any problems.

I monitor electric supply rates for a 99 year old relative that lives alone, in central PA, and heats her house with a heat pump, and I perform the enrollment process for her when there are favorable rates shown at the PA Power Switch site. I enrolled her with Energy Harbor last October at a rate of 0.1188/kWh. Recently PA Power Switch showed an Energy Harbor rate of 0.0956/kWh for 9 months, a 19% savings from her current rate. Since she was already an Energy Harbor customer I didnt think she would qualify for the lower rate but I called Energy Harbor to check. I was not only surprised that switching to the lower rate was not a problem I was really impressed with how efficient and courteous the young lady handled the process.

Called them up and asked for long term plans and they told me all the one's they had and I picked the best one for my budget

I like the fact Energy Harbor treats existing customers equal to new customersloyalty counts a lot with me. Plus no cancellation fee for changing to better rate within your plans.

Called to change plans and was told it would take 30-60 days to be effective. It ended up changing over within a week. Grossly overestimated the process but in a good way. One of the best long term plans for my area.

The Company not only have Fantastic fixed rate plans that let you lock in a rate that makes you feel comfortable with your future energy budget, but also let's you easily switch your plan if their prices do come down. Have had everyone in my family switch over to them also.

The sign up was quick and easy. My only suggestion would be that a start date be given so the coordination of changing suppliers is known up front. I do realize working with various companies takes coordination and not always easy. MetEd did confirm dates for me after I called.

Energy costs have skyrocketed! But we felt happy to sign on for a rate that we can live with, and it's a fixed rate for 20 months, without extra fees to be charged for various things other companies charge for.
